Everybody is unique.

Plastic surgery is nothing less than an artistic process in which we strive for the perfect shape and form. Long lost are the times when so called plastic surgeons would insert oversized implants and call it pleasing.

Achieving a beautiful shape respecting well documented scientific guidelines regarding the natural curves of the breast is the way we bring together all our artistry and understanding in order to create your own beautiful identity.

The Breast

Technique

So called “invisible scar” procedures are a modern approach to breast surgery, where surgeons use techniques to minimize scarring.

By minimizing scarring, the patient can feel more confident in their appearance and may experience a faster healing process.

But how do I do that?

Well it starts with the intrinsic understanding that there is no one size fits all and there is no perfect technique. If there was one, everybody would do it.

The way I bring that together is by fully understanding everything and choosing exactly what each unique person needs, combining every bit of technology and artistic breast approach to help you achieve the most natural beautiful shape possible.

Common Surgeries

In my development as a specialist I have dedicated my expertise to the field of breast augmentation and rhinoplasty, offering a comprehensive range of procedures tailored to meet the unique needs and desires of each patient. While breast augmentation is a primary focus of my practice, I am fully trained and experienced in addressing various other breast procedures, ensuring exceptional care for every individual who seeks my services.

  • Whether it is an augmentation, a mastopexy to restore a more youthful and uplifted appearance, mastopexy augmentation to enhance both shape and volume, a breast reduction to alleviate discomfort and improve proportions, gynecomastia correction for male patients, or even the correction of inverted nipples, I am well-versed in the latest techniques and advancements for these procedures.

Procedures

Breast surgery procedures are tailored to meet the patient's individual needs and desired outcome. Some common procedures include breast augmentation, breast lift, and breast reduction. As a complete surgeon one must master all procedures and use them accordingly.

Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation is a surgical procedure designed to increase the size and volume of the breasts and most of all, your self confidence.

The procedure involves the insertion of breast implants in a position that I recommend after careful analysis of your own starting anatomy whether that is subglandular, submuscular, dual plane, subfascial or others. I will always recommend the best possible technique for your body specifically in order to provide you with the best possible result.

Recovery time can vary, but most patients can return to normal activities within 1-2 weeks. In short you can expect results that remind you that you are magnificent.

Breast Lift

Breast lift surgery, technically known as mastopexy, is a popular cosmetic procedure aimed at rejuvenating and elevating sagging breasts. Over time, factors such as pregnancy, breastfeeding, gravity, and the natural aging process can lead to a loss of breast firmness and a drooping appearance. This surgical intervention is designed to restore a more youthful and uplifted breast contour by removing excess skin and reshaping the underlying breast tissue.

  • While recovery time can vary from person to person, most patients can expect to return to their normal activities within 1-2 weeks after the procedure. During this downtime, it's essential to follow post-operative care instructions diligently to optimize healing. The outcome not only results in firmer and more youthful-looking breasts but also a significant boost in self-confidence for many women. Whether performed as a standalone procedure or in combination with breast augmentation, breast lift surgery empowers women to attain the beautiful and confident silhouette they want.

Breast Reduction

Breast reduction surgery, known as reduction mammoplasty in medical terms, is a transformative procedure designed to alleviate the physical and emotional discomfort associated with excessively large breasts. Women with disproportionately large and often asymmetrical breasts often experience a range of issues, including back, neck, and shoulder pain, as well as postural problems. This surgical intervention aims to reduce the volume and weight of the breasts by removing excess glandular tissue, fat, and skin. The result is not only a more proportionate and aesthetically pleasing breast contour but also relief from the physical strain and discomfort.

  • Recovery time varies from person to person but typically involves a few weeks of downtime, during which it's essential to follow post-operative care guidelines. Beyond the physical benefits, breast reduction surgery can have a profound impact on a woman's self-esteem and quality of life, allowing her to move through life with greater comfort and confidence. It's a procedure that not only enhances physical well-being but also empowers individuals to embrace their bodies and enjoy a fuller, more active lifestyle.

Recovery & Aftercare

After breast surgery, patients must follow post-operative care instructions carefully to ensure proper healing and minimize the risk of complications. These instructions may include wearing a compression garment or special bra, taking pain medication as prescribed, and avoiding strenuous activities for several weeks. Patients also need to attend follow-up appointments to monitor their healing progress and to ensure that their tissues are healing correctly. Everything you might need and every bit of information is given in a very well explained personalized booklet which I write for every case.

Risks &

Complications

In some cases, additional surgical or nonsurgical procedures may be necessary to correct any complications that arise. But you must remember that even if complications happen, it is important that you have a surgeon that has handled them before and knows how to avoid them.

The short story is, complications can happen regardless of how perfect the surgery is. Knowing how to deal with them in a gracious and easy way is something that depends on your surgeon and his experience.

  • Breast surgery, like any surgical procedure, carries some risks and potential complications. These can include bleeding, infection, scarring, or complications related to anesthesia. Many of these are easy to solve without going back under general anesthesia but sometimes that is absolutely necessary in order to ensure that you have a perfect result. One of these situations, for example, is the movement of an implant from its initial position. In these cases it is absolutely necessary to address the problem under general anesthesia.

Patients should be aware of the potential risks and discuss any concerns before proceeding with the surgery. To minimize the risk of complications, it is important to follow all pre-operative and post-operative instructions carefully and to attend all scheduled follow-up appointments.

Testimonials

Important Questions

  • Quite simply put, it is a concept I came up with for a surgery technique that involves having the most personalized approach possible and achieving the most natural result. There is no one size fits all and no technique which is applied to every kind of body. You are unique and so is your body so achieving a result that is perfect for you requires a lot of analysis and combination of techniques which I have to take into consideration before presenting you with your ideal shape. There are submuscular, subfascial, subglandular, dual plane, multiplane, periareolar and hundreds of other techniques which should be looked at when deciding what is right for you. In the end, no one likes big scars and breasts that look too big and fake. „Did she?”, „Was she born that way?”, „I don’t see any scar” are things you will have to get used to if you go with "the other natural".

  • It is totally against my concept to ever have a result which looks fake. The whole purpose of „The Other Natural” is to give women who seek aesthetic surgery the confidence to choose a procedure that compliments their already existing beauty and characteristics. Going with bad quality implants that do not feel or look natural would only decrease a person’s confidence. Having a surgeon that listens and analyzes you closely in order to help you achieve a very harmonious result is much more important than inserting big silicone implants through big incisions that heal in a horrible way.

  • To put it frankly, you don’t. I chose about 6 sizes for you. We have a long discussion first about what your main goal is. After that I proceed to do a long list of calculations and measurements and I find 5 to 6 sizes which I present to you which go from small to medium to large. Unfortunately for some patients I am really reserved and I do not ever recommend having implants which are too big and look fake. It is most important that you have a safe procedure with minimal scars and risks. After I select a range, you get to try and choose exactly the right implant that feels best for you. I have learned that having external sizers is the best way you can judge what you like the most. If even after all this you are undecided it is also possible to come for a second consultation after you think it over or just decide on the day of the surgery. The easiest way is the one that you feel most comfortable with.

  • While mastering the technique I use today, I have experimented with different anesthetic solutions which I infiltrate during the surgery in order to achieve the best possible outcome and the easiest procedure for my patients.Refining this technique I have managed to obtain a pain level which is usually described to be minimal such as a muscle fever after working out again after a long pause or like a level 2 out of 10 that usually persists mainly in the first 48 hours. That pain is easy to manage using light painkillers and the only discomfort that is felt is the size of the new breasts which takes a while to adapt to. Sometimes, different patients react in a way that requires us to add other medicine as well as pain threshold is different for every person but in any case it is never over a 5 out of 10 pain level. The main goal is that you have an easy recovery and you get to live your normal life as fast as possible. Surgery techniques also affect pain levels.

  • Showers are permitted the next day of the surgery! You will have a dressing over the surgery incision mainly consisting of a micropore tape which is the same colour as the skin. This brown tape is water resistant and permits you to shower and live a normal life.

  • It is hard to describe how anybody specifically reacts to any surgery. I have had patients that went to work the next day like nothing happened and patients that wanted to take it easy for 7 days. It all depends on you and the way your body is fit to react to the stress of a surgery. Usually it never takes more than 5 days to get back to normal. Surgery techniques also affect recovery times.

  • Usually we tell our patients that the final result is evaluated at 6-12 months but that is not always the case. In the first 3 weeks after your surgery you should expect your breasts to be swollen and to have a little tight painless feel. After some weeks they begin to „soften and drop” which basically means that the initial liquid caused by the surgery goes down and the breasts settle in their new natural harmonious position without looking swollen anymore. Following the first month it only gets better and better for the rest of the healing process. Surgery techniques also affect recovery times. Remember, no squeezing them for 3 months!

  • Most definitely yes! I require you to go out the very same day and have some fresh air. Move a little, have a walk and go shopping for new clothes! You will definitely need them. Having a walk and getting the body moving is something that improves your recovery time greatly and makes your life much easier.

  • I’ve perfected the so-called „short -scar” technique. Nowadays, using the latest generation implants and instruments, I am able to keep my scars between 2 and 3 centimeters precisely hidden in the body’s natural folds so that they become almost invisible after a while. But you don’t have to believe me, check out my results for yourself.

  • Getting back to a normal life as fast as possible is the most essential detail of my practice. As long as there is no physical activity or no activity of the chest muscles some people get back to work the very next day. Other people like to take it easy for 3-7 days. It is all up to you but, generally, if there is no intense physical activity recovery time is limited to a few days. Surgery techniques also affect recovery times.

  • After any breast surgery it is important that we give the tissues time to settle and heal. You should definitely not do anything more than light walking for the first 3 weeks. After that you can get back to biking, leg exercises and isolation exercises that do not involve the chest muscles. Any kind of sports that involves moving the breasts a lot like running, trampoline, horse riding, tennis etc. are not allowed for the first 8 weeks. You need to give your new breasts time to heal and become a part of you in the exact position that they are after your surgery. Doing anything else might jeopardize your outcome.

  • A compression bra that supports your new breasts is prescribed to be worn at all times, except when you shower, for the first 6 to 8 weeks. Not wearing it might make your breasts move and settle in an unwanted position so it is very important that you follow the instructions.

  • After any breast procedure it is very important to not sleep directly on your abdomen. Pressing the implants and moving them around may cause healing problems and deteriorate your result. It is always recommended to sleep on your back for at least 3 months after a breast procedure. Having 2 large pillows on each side of your body while you sleep which allows you to move from side to side and greatly helps improve this new sleep protocol.

  • Nothing is needed before having a surgery. Notifying your doctor about any allergies you might have is essential. Usually you would only need some pain medication and a limited antibiotic treatment for a few days after having a breast procedure. The other thing is an antiallergic medicine called “ Montelukast” which has no interaction and no influence on your lifestyle. You are usually prescribed 10 mg/day for about 6 months as this has been proven to greatly decrease the risk of certain complications.

  • Certainly not but having a balanced diet with adequate intake greatly improves the surgery recovery time.

  • Breast implants do not affect breastfeeding. Breast implants either under the muscle or over the muscle or even different breast tissue procedures, if done in a correct way, should not affect breast feeding in any way.

  • Nipple sensation might or might not be diminished in the first 3-6 months following the distension of the thin sensory nerves which are compressed by the initial swelling. Usually, in case that does happen it does not last more than 3-6 months and everything goes back to normal.

  • All mothers are heroes for what they go through in order to give us the miracle gift of life. Any kind of aesthetic procedure should be completely avoided as long as you are breastfeeding and you should always wait at least 12 months after that stops or after childbirth in order to have a breast procedure. Your breasts need to be back to a new normal and to settle in a new shape before you go through with a procedure that changes them again.

  • The million-dollar question. To be honest, it depends greatly on each body. If you look at the surgical data, 1 in 4 breast patients will have another operation in the first 4 years. I firmly believe that implant choice greatly affects this statistic. If they are appropriate, are not too big and if they are done using a correct clean technique then they can last for a very long time. Some can last even for a lifetime. But the truth is that most breast implants are changed after 10-15 years either because people want a different size, a different breast procedure or they just want them out. Our bodies always change with the passing of time and implants must also be changed in order to maintain a harmonious aspect.
